Introductory ST-WPTM Training
In
this introduction to Sandtray-Worldplay, we explore the healing power of human consciousness, and how it manifests in
sandplay. Orientation to the Sandtray-Worldplay environment,
method and diverse application is followed by a demonstration and an opportunity to
experience the empowerment offered by play with sand, water and images. This workshop
can prepare you for the ongoing monthly Sandtray-Worldplay journey consultation
group. If undecided about starting Level One Sandtray-Worldplay, this workshop
gives you an excellent basis for making an informed decision.

One Sandtray-Worldplay Therapy Training
Explore the
Sandtray-Worldplay Room and the basic principles of Sandtray-Worldplay; Comparative
and historical sandplay studies; Sandtray-Worldplay, human
consciousness, awakening perception, practice presence; The
possibilities of ST-WP: view different types of Worlds; Demonstration of a ST-WPTM
session: the way of the witness and the way of the builder; How
to use 'living' language to explore Worlds with clients; How
to avoid interpretation of the play; Direct experience of sand, elemental,
nature, and image play;
Identify
and practice different
play styles; Exploration,
enactment, and witnessing of normal pre-verbal a. early
childhood developmental sandplay patterns in the work of children and
adults; Experiencing the growing

basic ST-WPTM observational techniques;

Dynamic
Expressive Play Therapy - first 5 days of Level 3
Level
Three Sandtray-Worldplay - seven days
Dynamic
Expressive Play therapy is part one (days 1-5) of the Level 3 ST-WP
Course.
Level
3 ST-WP is a seven day course: 5 days Dynamic Expressive Play Therapy
and 2 days ST-WP practicum.
Newcomers
to VQISR register for the Dynamic Expressive Play therapy only.
Level
Two ST-WP graduates enroll for all 7 days (part 1 and 2) of this training.
In
this experientially based workshop:
Weave community as we connect
individual-and group psyche through group play;
Interface sitting in
circle, sandtray-worldplay, drama, movement, music, art, drawing-storytelling, games, shamanic
journeying and ritual suitable for individuals and groups of all ages;
Engage in individual, dyadic and group play;
Track the play
journey and learn what it means to 'follow psyche' and to 'let psyche
take the lead'.
We learn:
Special developmental plays, bonding games,
multicultural plays and termination plays.
How
to identify and track the
concerns of our habituated ego (the small self), our superego, and our
deeper Self (the big I) as we experience transformative empowerment
derived from play.
Participants chronicle their play journey and write
their own play therapy text.

Psyche as it weaves meaning during
the sandtray session. Explore research &
special ST-WPTM techniques. Learn
how to take process notes. Facilitate your own
Sandtray-Worldplay Journey. The sandtray process emerges as a highly
intelligent, idiosyncratic cognitive process that reveals the different
steps of the individual's transformational and healing path.

training. This level descends into the core work. Time to play with the
play.

principles for witnessing, supporting and documenting dyadic and group sandplay;
Play processes and bonding
techniques for couples, and family; Milieu and
educational sandplay; Observe and
support 'communal psyche'; Methods
for encouraging interpersonal skill building; Use ST-WPTM to enrich
language skills and ability to construct story; Shamanic descent into mind-soul-spirit experience
using special ST-WPTM amplification
techniques, methods of embodiment and enactment; Multiple- sandtray work;
Navigate descent, ascent, stuckness;
Personal practicum journey.

the 'Big experiences of life': Individual and group ST-WPTM techniques for
individual, intergenerational, and multicultural trauma, emergency, death,
grieving, disaster; Explore
the effects of familial and social taboos on the sacredness of Self,
sacred Space and sacred Relationships; Practice
visioning and
re-visioning; Work with time, space and memory in
the sandtray; Meet
and be with the mystery, the void, the dark days of the Soul, and the
hidden abyss; Learn
how play can be used to break through habitual and hurtful patterns; Access
the ancestral, archetypal, nature and psychospiritual realms to support clients'
facing the great suffering and the deep darkness of their own life and
the lives of their people; Ritual
of completion of our studies; Review of the Level 1-6 Sandtray-Worldplay
training journey.
